Aquaman-Related Series with Online Links: Part 2

Atlantis Chronicles (1990) 1-7 – This mini-series literally chronicled an absolutely amazing history for Atlantis starting from even shortly before its sinking into the ocean. This series also established the "Curse of Kordax", signified by Aquaman's blond hair, as the reason for his banishment from Atlantis as an infant.

http://www.comicvine.com/the-atlantis-chronicles-5-stuff-of-legends/4000-32914/ - This was where the Atlantean wizard Atlan was introduced, who would be revealed by the end of this series to be the father of Aquaman in post-Crisis on Infinite Earths continuity.

Aquaman: Time and Tide (1993) 1-4 – This mini-series provides the origin story for Aquaman, post-Crisis. This chronologically follows up right after Atlantis Chronicles. It also establishes a strong connection between Aquaman & dolphins as they cared for him as an infant after his banishment from Atlantis.

Aquaman vol. 5 (1994) 0, 1-75, 1,000,000, Annual 1-5 – This was the longest-running, most-successful Aquaman series without any gaps.

http://www.comicvine.com/aquaman-2-single-wet-female/4000-39681/ <- Aquaman loses his left hand to piranhas (commanded by Charybdis) in this issue, which leads to the harpoon replacement starting in #0 (the next issue chronologically). It becomes cybernetically enhanced by issue #9.

http://www.comicvine.com/aquaman-5-out-cold/4000-40359/ <- This issue introduced Aquaman & an Inuit woman named Kako’s illegitimate son, Koryak, who had hard water powers similar to Mera.
http://www.comicvine.com/aquaman-50-reflections/4000-45516/ <- Lagoon Boy & his pals Sheeva and Blubber were introduced in this issue.
http://www.comicvine.com/aquaman-60-marriage-vows/4000-46050/ <- Aquaman’s former sidekick, the original Aqualad, Garth, who became known as Tempest, marries Dolphin (who is pregnant with their son) in this issue.

Showcase ’96 (1996) 1 – This comic has the transitional story between Garth no longer being called Aqualad & his training that led to his new identity as Tempest.

Tempest (1996) 1-4 – This mini-series is all about Aquaman’s former sidekick, Garth/Aqualad, coming into his own & taking on a new identity of Tempest. In case you couldn't tell/didn't know, Garth/Tempest is one of my top favorite comic book characters. :)

Sins of Youth: Aquaboy & Lagoon Man (2000) 1 – This comic was part of the Young Justice-centered crossover story called “Sins of Youth”, where the older & younger heroes were reverse-aged.

JLA: Our Worlds at War (2001) 1 – This comic, which ties into the company-wide crossover event that was called “Our Worlds at War”, ended with the complete disappearance of Atlantis & what appeared to be the death of Aquaman. It led into the epic “Obsidian Age” story in JLA that centered on finding Atlantis & Aquaman in the ancient past & returning the Atlanteans to the present. Tempest was a focal character in this too.
